Killer Alien Movie Vault is a movie collection management application designed to help you organize and manage your personal physical media library.
Information Stored by the App
Movie information that you enter or save in Killer Alien Movie Vault is stored locally on your Mac. This may include movie titles, ratings, formats, editions, packaging, notes, artwork references, and other information associated with your movie collection.
Killer Movie Vault does not require you to create an account with Killer Alien to use the Movie Vault.
Third-Party Services
Killer Alien Movie Vault may communicate with third-party services to retrieve movie information, artwork, and trailer information.
These services may include OMDb, TMDB, and YouTube.
Information submitted to these services is limited to what is necessary for the requested functionality, such as a movie title or search query.
YouTube API Services
Killer Alien Movie Vault uses YouTube API Services to locate movie trailers. When you use the trailer functionality, the application may send movie-related search information to YouTube in order to locate an appropriate trailer.
Data Collection
Killer Movie Vault does not require an account and does not maintain a remote account or cloud-based copy of your movie collection.
The application does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, or location for the purpose of creating a user profile.
Optional movie lookup and trailer features may transmit movie-related search information to the third-party services described above. Those services may process or retain information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Data Retention and Deletion
Movie collection information saved by Killer Movie Vault is stored locally on your Mac and remains there until you modify or remove it.
Killer Movie Vault does not maintain a separate server-side copy of your personal movie library.
Because the application does not require a user account, there is no Killer Movie Vault account containing personal information that you need to request us to delete. You can remove your locally stored collection information using the application or by removing the application's locally stored data from your Mac.
Information sent to third-party services as part of a requested movie lookup or trailer search is subject to those providers' respective privacy practices and retention policies.
Your Privacy Choices
You control whether you use optional features that communicate with third-party services. You may choose not to use movie lookup or trailer functionality if you do not want movie-related search information transmitted to those services.
